Armed Robbery

Flint Police are asking for your help in solving an armed robbery that occured on the east side of Flint. The tip that leads to an arrest in this particular case may be worth up to $1,000. On December 3, 2008 Flint Police responded to 1810 Maplewood Ave, the Rite Aide Pharmacy on the east side of Flint for an Armed Robbery. Three armed suspects wearing masks entered the store and ordered the manager to open up the store safes. The suspects all believed to be male black fled the store with approximately $6,000.

Shooting

On Sept. 1, 2008 Flint Police received a call to the 2900 block of N. Saginaw St., in reference to a shooting. 3 male black subjects followed the victim to the gas station and in process of robbing him shot him and then fled away in his vehicle a gray Ford Taurus.

B & E

CrimeStoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual/s involved in several Commercial B&E's in the City of Flint and surrounding areas.

In the past several months the City of Flint and surrounding agencies have had a series of break ins to gas stations and mini markets. The break ins have occurred during the evening and early mornings hours. The doors to the business are forced open sometimes using stolen cars to ram the entrances. Cigarettes and money are consistent items that have been stolen from the businesses.

HOMICIDE

Flint Police are asking for your help in solving a Homicide caused by arson. CrimeStoppers will pay up to $1,000 for any information or the tip that leads to an arrest in this particular case. On Sept. 10, 2008 Flint Fire Fighters responded to 3623 North St., for a house fire. The house upon arrival was fully engulfed and had heavy exterior and interior fire damage. Upon entry into the residence the victim Mack Sykes was found deceased on the 2nd floor of the residence.

Homicide

Flint Police are asking for any information that will help in the investigation of the shooting death of De Andre Craawford. The tip that leads to an arrest on this particular case may be worth up to $1,000.

On Tuesday Aug. 12th, @ 7:48pm an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound on Myrtle St. fired several shots at the victim De Andre Crawford m/b 21. Crawford received one fatal gunshot in the back.

Homicide

On June 29, 2006 Flint Police responded to the 300 block of Ferndale St. for a shooting. 4 black male subjects wearing bandanas and armed with handguns came to the residence. One suspect pushed his way to the rear of the house and shot the victim in the head.


Homicide

On Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 12:13 a.m. Flint Police responded to 509 E. Dewey St., in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival Officers entered the residence and discovered the deceased victim Edward Williams, a black male age 24, lying inside the residence with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Willams also had an undisclosed amount of money in one hand and a firearm in the other.

Shooting

On Friday June 15, 2007 at 10:54 p.m. Flint Police Officers responded to 3701 Marvin St., in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival Officers found the victim Nichole Washington, who had been shot. Washington told the officers that while she was visiting friends in the 3700 block of Marvin St., she was she heard someone say they're shooting. Washington stated that she was shot, but did not see who did the shooting. She was taken to Hurley where she was listed in critical condition.


Robbery

On Saturday July 7th at approx 10:05 a.m. a white male 30-40 years of age, approx. 6'0", 200 lbs., wearing a white tee shirt and shorts, driving a blue Buick Lesabre arrived at a residence on Torrey Rd., in Mundy Twp., occupied by an elderly male with Alzheimer's, and forcefully entered residence and struggled with the elderly male taking his social security income which he had just cashed.

Armed Robbery

On Wednesday July 18, 2007 at approximately 3:20 am Flint Police responded to 401 W. Court St., in reference to an Armed Robbery that occurred at Tom Z's restaurant.

Upon arrival workers told Officers that an unknown black male described as being approximately 6 ft tall, and 200 lbs, entered the business, pointed a handgun at them and stated, "Give me the money".

Workers then stated that the suspect then jumped over the counter and ordered them to the rear of the business and forced them to open the safe. Workers stated that upon putting the money in a bag the suspect then jumped back over the counter and jumped in an unknown vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.

 


Homicide

On Saturday, February 22, 2006, at approximately 12:21 a.m., Flint Police were called to 1718 W. Pierson Road, Apt. #48 for a shooting. Inside the apartment police found the body of 25 year old Reginald Lee Smith II, lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

ARMED ROBBERY

Details: March 16, 2006, Fenton Cinemas, Fenton

Fenton Police were called to the Fenton Cinemas,
where they received a report from the manager
that while checking the facility at closing time
he was robbed at gunpoint. He was also bound and
forced to the floor. A silver handgun was used.

The suspect is described as Male, 6 feet tall,
200 pounds, wearing a gray ski mask and a brown
cloth jacket.


BREAKING AND ENTERING

Sometime between the months of September, 2005 to November, 2005,someone broke into a storage unit on Sheridan Road in Lennon, Michigan. Supsects took numerous items of value and well as basic household wares including Lladro porcelain figurines, a hand crafted coffee table that also served as a yarn box, a chime wall clock, a shadow box, a T.V. , an antique corner shelf, an antique sewing box and various kitchen utensils. According to Police, someone picked the lock to the storage unit, took the items and put the lock back on.

HOMICIDE

On Saturday, August 27, 2005, Grand Blanc Township Police Department made a traffic stop for a speeding violation and discovered that an occupant of the vehicle had been shot. The victim, 47 year old Paul Shank was transported to Genesys Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. According to Flint Police records, the shooting happened in the 3000 block of Stonegate in the City of Flint.
